Halloween Craft Ideas: Easy Yarn Crafts For Children

The pompom spider is among the easy yarn crafts for children. The only supplies that are need for this particular craft are scissors, yarn, cardboard, pipe cleaner, googly eyes and glue. Next, you are going to cut out a piece of the cardboard that measure three inches by two inches rectangles. Then you are going to loosely wrap a yard of yarn around the piece of cardboard. Then you are going to take the yarn completely off of the cardboard making sure that all of the loops stay completely together.

Now, you are going to place four pipe cleaners on all of the yarn loops and then tie the yarn loops as well as the pipe cleaners tightly together with at least a two foot piece of yarn. Make sure that you cut all of the loops completely in half in order to create the shape of the pompom. Then you are going to bend all of the pipe cleaners so that they form the shape of spider legs. Last but not least, you are going to glue all of the googly eyes to the spider that you have created.

In the event that you are interested in easy yarn crafts for children like this one, you may also be interested in another Halloween craft ideas such as:

The Balloon Ghost: In order to create this absolutely fun Halloween decoration, you are going to need to have scissors, a white balloon, garbage bags or white plastic grocery bags, string, tape, and a black marker. Once you have gathered all of your materials together, you will need to cut all of the plastic bags into strips which leave an uncut edge in order to hold all of the strips together.

Then you are going to blow up the balloon and tape all of the cut up bags all around the balloon in order to create the body of the ghost. However, you are going to need to make sure that the balloon is tied upside down at the time that you tape all of the bags onto the balloon so that you are able to have something that you are able to hang the ghost from.

Then all you have to do is draw the ghost a face on the balloon and tie a string to the balloon and then hang the ghost up. Emmanuel Cooper: Influential potter whose impact was also felt in his writing and teaching

Emmanuel Cooper made pots with volcanic, cratered surfaces and bright, singing colours that came as a surprise from someone schooled in the tradition of domestic, brown earthenware. I first met him early in his career, in 1969. He was living in a basement flat in London's Westbourne Grove, as yet ungentrified. He was a kind of urban simple-lifer, floating around clad in an exotic North African ...
